The DLX line features vinyl materials milled and manufactured in the U.S.A. and the quality of these materials is among the most consistent in the industry. All of our vinyl material contain some recyclable parts & is recyclable.

Softhide: (expanded) Combining the beautiful qualities of leather at a vinyl price. Softhide has a light pebble grain and a soft, supple touch.

Fine Pearl Vinyl: (expanded)  Ultra finely grained simulated leathers with a dusty pearl finish, baby-soft to the touch. Pearl materials are available in both expanded/supported and expanded/film vinyl.

Edge 600D: contemporary nylon fabric

Microline: Smooth and silky microfibre fabric material available in four popular colors. This modern material is normally accented with Softhide vinyl for a unique, contemporary style.

Antigua: Our best-selling premium quality vinyl, all intermediately priced. All Antigua are slightly mottled in texture, shading and grain.

Suedene:  Materials Film vinyl referred to by the trade as “suedenes” should not be confused with our vinyl “suede”. Popular suedenes are smooth film vinyl with a uniform matte finish. Available in a rainbow of brilliant colors, these simple vinyls are ideal for programs, events or organizations with a color scheme.

Polished Clear (#00) is featured on business card pockets, document cases and offered on a few promotional items. Frosted Clear (#01) appears exclusively on multiple card windows such as business card pages. Other "film" vinyl (stock materials #02 through #34 and our Antigua line) are used in the manufacture of "heat-sealed" or "electronically stitched" items throughout the catalog; simply contact the factory for minimum quantity required if you are interested in a sealed item in a film vinyl not listed as stock.

"Expanded" vinyl (#85 through #93) are similarly available in deluxe editions of sealed items, as well as in our stitched Elite and Lethredge lines. Expanded/fabric-backed "supported" vinyl (stock #71 through #98) are featured exclusively on briefcases and fine executive items and are always nylon stitched.

Additional materials and colors are available for custom orders in quantity, and remnants are often available. Orders for "assorted colors" will be filled with any stock colors immediately available unless specific colors are requested.

Please note that vinyl pigments, grains and stretching may vary, and the complementary materials used on interior lining, pockets and/or tabs of some items may be changed from time to time: additionally, camera lighting and appearance of materials in some catalog photographs may vary. Swatch samples of any DLX materials are available at no charge upon request. DLX cannot assume responsibility for variances in shading/sizes due to the nature of vinyl and reserves the right to substitute equivalent or better vinyl to fill an order if necessary.

Less than minimum: Unless otherwise indicated, $50 (X) for each stock item in the catalog. Abolute minimum is 1/2 the lowest catalog quantity.

Combined quantity pricing: Available on all stock items with the same imprint. Minimum quantity for each item must be met and items must ship to same location at the same time.

Overruns/underrruns: Imprinting may result in overruns or underruns up to 5%; we reserve the right to ship and invoice accordingly.

Exact quantity: Exact quantity is available on select stock items, contact factory for confirmation and add $50 (X) per item.  Acknowledgements/confirmation: All orders must be received in writing by either mail or fax. Orders are not processed for production until confirmation is received by factory. All written or faxed orders receive acknowledgements.

DLX electronic data interchange: DLX now offers electronic data interchange (EDI) for submission of purchase orders, artwork and general correspondence / data via telecommunications. Please contact factory for further info.

Samples: All sample orders are considered firm orders and will be billed at end quantity price, less thirty percent.

Drop/split shipments: For each shipment after the first, shipped the same day, add $20 (X) per shipment. When shipped on different days, add $50(X) per shipment. Entire order must be shipped within six months of first shipment.

Third Party Freight: $10.00 (X) handling charge per shipment.

Freight claims/liability: Legal responsibility transfers from DLX to carrier/customer when merchandise is consigned to carrier. Claims should be placed with carrier immediately.

Cold crack: At temperatures below 32 degrees F, heat-sealed vinyl items are vulnerable to cracking when cartons are thrown/dropped during shipment. DLX takes every precaution with such shipments and cannot accept responsibility for any claims resulting from cold cracking. Claims must be made by customer to freight carrier with our assistance.
Custom design: Custom products not shown in this catalog are available from our quality design and production facilities. The same superior quality, service and competitive pricing policies that are found in our stock line will be applied to quoting your custom products. All orders that deviate from standard production of DLX catalog item will be subject to 10% overrun/underrun.

We accept digitized artowrk developed on any major desktop publishing software on both Macintosh and PC platforms and prefer EPS vector formatted artwork. Any artwork submitted with halftones, gray scale, color or  requiring additional copy will require artwork at cost. We reserve the right to charge up to $25.00 for minor art touch-up without notification. Printing Methods

 A heat process by which a hot metal die or typeset lines of copy are applied to foil with pressure, leaving a sharp, detailed imprint. Available on all vinyl items.

Foil colors:
Red, Yellow, Mid-green, Royal, Navy, Purple, Brown, Beige, Burgundy, Black, White, Metallic gold, Metallic silver. If foil color is not selected, factory will use metallic gold.

Cuts/Dies: $50 (G) up to 8 square inches. Cuts kept on file for two years.

Oversize copy:
Over 8 square inches, add $2.50 (G) per each additional square inch. Plus a running charge of $ .50 (C) per piece upto 16 square inches. Cuts over 16 square inches, please contact factory for quote.

Changes of copy:
Add $25 (G) setup charge for each change of copy.

Additional locations:

A metal die is electronically pressed into the surface of an item, resulting in either a debossed (depressed) or embossed (raised) imprint.

Using up to 100 thread colors, your logo is sewn directly onto the cover of a DLX item. Embroidery is available on our Edge Square and Microline collections. Other products within our DLX line are acceptable for embroidery; please submit your logo and item request for approval.

General Requirements: Submit a color reproduction of your design along with color separated artwork. Include PMS color placement instructions. DLX will determine the number of stitches required to faithfully reproduce your imprint. Based on this stitch count, a "Design and Punch" charge plus an application charge (running charge) will be quoted. Your order will be placed on hold pending approval of the quote. please keep in mind that the minimum height for lettering is 1/4".

Design and Punch Development: Normal development time is 2 weeks after quote. For 3 day service, add 25% to the Design and Punch Development charges listed.
